Guests arrive at the venue from the church/registry office and receive a welcome
drink, Followed shortly by the arrival of the Bride and Groom
The Best Man would then arrange your receiving line, which could include: |
- Brides Mother
- Brides Father
- Bride
- Groom
- Grooms Mother
- Grooms Father
- Bridesmaids (Optional)
- Best Man (Optional)

The Best Man would then ask your guests to make their way into the dining room, whilst greeting your receiving line. The Best Man would then announce the Bride and Groom into the dining room, whilst the guests stand and applaud. |

The Best Man may then say grace before dinner is served. |
The toasts should be as follows: |
Toast to the Bride and Groom - The father of the Bride proposes this and the Groom makes the reply.
Toast to the Bridesmaids - Proposed by the Groom after his reply to the first toast. The Best Man makes the reply to this.
The dining room is then cleared up and prepared for your evening guests to dance the night away! |
